Job Description
• Ensure the facility in in compliance to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management system and all other requirements
• Facilitate weekly/external and or customers’ s safety inspection
• Oversee and facilitate work place risk/hazard assessment and analysis
• Consolidate and follow up on implementation and closure of safety inspection, incident investigations and internal/external audits findings
• Assist the HSE Manager in implementing the company HSE policies, procedure and guidelines and maintaining HSE record-keeping and company database.
• Propose and execute improvement initiatives to the company HSE management system in compliance with the statutory & corporate requirements.
• Active participation in the company safety committee works, liaise closely with various department to facilitate and drive the progress of the company HSE plan and programs.
• Draft HSE operating procedure, safety training materials and any relevant documentation or manual in supporting of the company HSE management system compliance and effectiveness.
• Oversee and facilitate work place risk/hazard assessment and analysis, pollution prevention/ control and various HSE compliance activities.
• Conducting/assisting in work place HSE inspections and audits, following up on the effective implementation and closure of associated corrective/remedial actions.
• Coordinate internal/external HSE audit programs, assist in incident reporting/investigation and assuming HSE administrative duties and undertake any ad-hoc tasks, project or assignment as required and directed by the HSE Manager.
Requirements
• Candidates must have at least a Diploma in Engineering/Science
• Must have WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
• 3 years of working experience in an HSE role within Manufacturing environment
• Computer literate with good proficiency in MS Office applications
