Job Description

They are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will be able to:
• Create, plan and implement new sales strategy and business development initiatives in alignment with regional and global sales strategy.
• Establish sales targets and ensure sales achievement through regular oversight and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
• Coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals.
• Monitor and provide reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and ensure efficient marketing communications.
• Ensure achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales.
• Monitors client financial status and report any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.
• Identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales/tendering/commercial side of design & built projects in the electrical sector/civil infrastructure/port industry.
• Experience in handling port electrical systems sales, crane drive systems or port equipment.
• Being able to translate “customer project demands” into “winning tenders”
• Experience of coordinating with tender team and understanding of project complexity (Engineering \ Costing \ Risk Management \ Legal \ Tax).
• Capable to identify partners within the sector to team up with (Civil contractors/local Partners for installation works).
• Good understanding of container terminal process & construction methodology and processes followed.
