Job Description

Responsibilities:

The main focus of this role is to be primarily responsible in leading a team for developing and expanding business and achieve sales budget on yearly basis. Developing sales strategies, objectives and tactical plans based on client needs and market situation, and aligned them with business objectives. Role includes the responsibility to develop targeted trade lane (USA) and manage the pipelines activities for these lanes to drive more tonnage and profitability. To improve the organization’s market position and to achieve financial growth. Define long term organizational strategic goals and to build key customer relationships. Present and consult with senior management on business trends to develop new services and distribution channels. Participate in pricing and tender adjudication with senior management and project management team.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 - 9 years’ of relevant commercial experience in freight forwarding business with a minimal 3 years of experience managing sales team.
• Must possess strong knowledge and understanding of the freight forwarding business
• Demonstrated track-record in identifying opportunities, generating revenue, building relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership, people and process management skills
• A dynamic presence, self-motivated and enjoy working in a team environment
