• Our client is a Japanese Automation company providing optimum solutions in Industrial Automation, Factory Automation and Building Automation.
• They offer everything from sensors to valves, controllers, systems, software and maintenance services.
We are currently looking for a Sales Engineer-Marine business to:
• Develop sales and provide technical support to marine customers specifically Ship Owners with their product.
• Test and evaluate new & existing customers, including data collection and process analysis.
• Market research and grab more marine business within Singapore region.
• Provide testing and commissioning support.
• Prepare technical proposal, contract and tender submission along with pricing negotiation. Supports marketing efforts for new technologies.
• Provide technical support to the Sales for preparation of bids and proposals.
• Support negotiation process ensuring all milestone dates are met, all documentation is prepared and stored in accordance with Company standard procedures, risk assessment process is followed, and all project related information is properly updated through the life cycle of each sales opportunity.
Our client needs someone with the following skills:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in marine industry handling Sales.
• Having experience in similar product and good connection with marine client’s /ship owners is much advantage.
• Team skills with good interpersonal skills is needed.
• Having Driving License with own car.
