Job Description

In summary, the main focus of this role is to act as an overall strategic revenue manager for FCL product, steering volumes and price levels, interfacing with capacity planning master plan and aligning with overall business profitability. You will provide strategic thoughts in the areas of product development (FCL), establishing KPIs for internal process flows and ensuring country adherence/compliance to carrier/trade lane strategy. You will have direct management of both trade lane management and FCL procurement teams, which will assist you with defining, executing and maintaining global guidelines to support the product strategy. Provide technical expertise to countries in cross-department activities/discussions pertaining mostly to revenue generating goals. Take charge and determine organization structure, roles and responsibility and setting performance targets for FCL team.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 - 15 years’ of relevant capacity (FCL) & trade lane management in a forward thinking business.
• Strong negotiation skills pertaining to service contracts, incentive programs, USA regulations (FMC)
• Profound knowledge of the freight forwarding industry, including trends and opportunities.
• Ability to connect business strategy and product is critical to the success of this role
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional and multicultural teams
