Our client is a Global Japanese logistics company in Singapore.
We are currently looking for a Assistant Sales Manager to :
- Maintain account servicing for customer retention.
- Tender Management (Rate Negotiation with carriers / RFI Preparation & RFQ participation / Port-RFQ analysis etc.).
- Implementation & Execution (i.e. SOP preparation / KPI monitoring etc.).
- Pipeline Management (Prospective clients / targeted clients / existing clients).
- Account Management (newly-secured clients / existing clients).
- New Product planning in freight forwarding & international express segments (strengthen the product portfolio of the group for further revenue generation).
Our client needs someone with the following skills:
- Min 5 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry.
- Experience from a global freight forwarding/ Logistics company is valuable.
- Comprehensive expertise in freight forwarding (both Air & Sea) and the entire Supply Chain Management field.
- Thorough market knowledge (clients, competitors, suppliers, overall Supply-Chain segment).
- International mindset / willingness to expose himself / herself to various business environment / cultural diversities.
