Job Description

The Role:

Reporting to Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will lead and coordinate activities in Asset Integrity Management, consisting of key management processes for a systematic, coordinated and integrated efforts to ensure all refinery assets maintain fit for purpose over the whole lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate activities of site Asset Integrity Management (AIM) team. Accountable for effective implementation and management of all AIM processes (i.e. asset criticality assessment, inspection management, flange management, leak detection and repair program, etc.).
• Facilitate FMEA for critical assets to develop appropriate preventive / predictive or condition-based maintenance plans, targeting at high risks failure modes.
• Initiate, lead, facilitate and/or participate in root cause analysis, investigations and improvement discussions for high impact asset integrity issues (e.g. recurring, high consequence etc.).
• Coordinate timely reporting, follow-up and closure of effective and effective action items in AIM register.
• Monitor, review and drive improvements to maintenance plans / programs to assure asset integrity, reliability and effectiveness, introduce new methodology or technology in condition monitoring / predictive maintenance and risk based inspection / maintenance. Approve new or revised maintenance plans.
• Establish and maintain high quality documented processes, standard maintenance procedures and work instructions in supports of Asset Integrity Management.
• Promote and embrace recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP) as basis in all engineering, operations and maintenance activities, guided by relevant established codes, standards, published technical reports or recommended practices or similar documents.
• Other relevant duties as prescribed by the management.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance work in chemical, petrochemical and related industry, with strong exposures in plant reliability or asset integrity management.
• Experience in Process plant maintenance of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation disciplines.
• An experienced user of CMMS – SAP, IFS, for plant maintenance, material / inventory management.
• Strong exposure in Asset integrity and reliability engineering / management.
• Skilled in Risk assessment, particularly in risk based inspection / maintenance & decision-making.
• Familiar with relevant codes, e.g. ASME, API, ASNT, etc.
• Strong technical knowledge in process plant maintenance and analytical skills for issues resolutions, improvements, etc.
• Good communication and coordination, working in cross functional, multiple disciplines environment.
• Ability to prioritize through close coordination and collaborations with HSEQ, Operations, Technical and others.
