Design Representative - Shotcrete (Tunneling / 12-18 months' contract)

Our client is an MNC consultancy firm specializing in civil infrastructure and building construction projects.

Working on-site supporting the construction main contractor, the Design representative will be responsible for the following:

- To ensure that activities is carried out in accordance to the design
- To ensure that the work is carried out in accordance to quality and safety requirements.
- To identify different ground conditions and behaviour
- To review and interpret instrumentation monitoring results
- To propose changes within the design limits identified in the drawings
- To capture situations in which actual design might not be adequate to the actual conditions and coordinate between relevant parties and authorities

-Degree in Civil Engineering
-With 5 - 10 years of working experience in tunneling projects with exposure in tunnel design, and experience in shotcrete (sprayed concrete) activities.
-Ability to effectively coordinate between colleagues, contractors and authorities.
-Sound technical knowledge with an ability to recommending changes to the design when needed.
-Successful candidates will work on 12 - 18 months' contract.
