System Solution Architect

Our client is a provides medical information services in Asia and Oceania region. They are looking for a business planning position to expand their regional business.

We are currently looking for a System Solution Architect to:

• Will be a vital part of the IT team where the solution and projects are around web applications, enterprise applications, high-performance computing, batch processing, big data, archiving and disaster recovery, as well as the performance, stability and security of our system and applications.
• Validate existing architectures, facilitate, construct and execute mid-to-long term improvement plans including migration of on premise modules to cloud.
• Proactively identify opportunities for integrating modern architecture patterns and emerging technical solutions into the current design.
• Serves as the deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) in development of cloud solutions which include multi/ hybrid cloud design and implementation, infrastructure modernization and service delivery enhancements and automation that increase service quality, stability and security.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, preferably in the healthcare industry, to influence company’s product and data security.
• Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams of our network, system and software infrastructure.
• Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Setup necessary tools for continuous monitoring of our servers, applications and services.

Our client needs someone with the following skills:

• Min 6 years of experience as a hands-on Solution Architect.
• Experience architecting infrastructure design and solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures whether its on-premise, cloud or hybrid having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, security, cost and lifespan.
• Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure deployment and management services.
• Working knowledge of software development practices and Internet-related technologies highly desired.
• Having experience to support and work on large scale web and mobile application.
• Network experience with route tables, access control lists, firewalls, NAT, HTTP, DNS, IP & OSI Network, is a plus.
• Knowledge of RESTful Web Services, XML, JSON, Powershell, SVN, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Confluence and JIRA.
• Working experience in automation of Infra as a Code using Ansible, Chef, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the management and work cross-functionally across multiple departments.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed analytical, diagnostic and problem resolution skills.
• Proven ability to work with high degree of independence, self-directed with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Flexible and adapt quickly in a dynamic business environment.
• Technical degree required; Computer Science or equivalent.
• Someone who is responsible, highly accountable, proactive and collaborative.
