Job Description

• Recruitment - Assists Regional HR Manager in all phases of exempt, non-exempt recruiting and selection, and prepares hiring status reports. This includes placing job ads, screening and profiling applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, process employment offers, participating in recruiting functions such as job fairs and out-reach activities, to build pipeline for future manpower needs. Ensures all recruiting practices are in compliance with applicable Employment Law(s), Fair Employment Practices and Company policy.
• Training - Coordinate and execute learning/training needs analysis, and deploy approved training plans by providing administration support in employees’ training enrolment, evaluate and audit training programme, follow-up on training evaluation and related documentation. Primary liaison with government agencies on relevant funding and claims e.g. SkillsConnect Portal. Monitor and review the usage of training budget.
• General HR Administration - review and align HR policies to local regulations, Maintain employees' personal information through HRIS and P-Files, Process Work Pass Applications, Renewals and Cancellations, Administer Hr related documents.
• Employee Engagement - Lead the onboarding process to integrate new hires into the company business, culture, values. Partner with line managers/supervisors to deliver onboarding programme for new hire orientation/induction.
• Talent Management - Assist in talent management initiatives such as driving new performance management trends in terms of goal setting, development planning, competency management, succession planning, and talent retention programme.
• Others - Provide minor support in other areas such as C&B, HR Analytics, Employee Relations, HR projects, etc.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, in Human Resource Management, Business Admin or a related field.
• At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in HR administration, preferably within a manufacturing background.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Employment Act and related laws; familiar with MOM EPOL and WPOL and SkillsConnect portal.
• Computer literate with experience in using HRIS, and has good writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively despite ambiguities.
• Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit to own his / her portfolio and innovative mindset in terms of streamlining work processes and coming up solutions to day-to-day issues.
• Independent, self-driven and responsible individual with the ability to interact effectively with employees of all levels
• Hands-on person with a high level of initiative and integrity, and is able to work under pressure and adapt to changes
• Strong analytical and organizational skills and a good team player
• Must be meticulous, resourceful, good time management and detail-oriented.
