Job Description
In this role, you are responsible for the effective and efficient coordination of fleet vessel operations. The day to day responsibilities include:
• Daily vessel operations.
• Bunker procurement and negotiation.
• Updating of fleet operational records, files and databases.
• Ensure compliance with Charter Party requirements as well as operational information amongst different parties.
• Monitor and record all details of voyage performance.
• Pre and Post fixture support on vessel information requirements, questionnaires, certification and scheduling.
• Liaising on vessel movements and voyage scheduling.
• Arrange all routine invoicing and funding for voyage costs, including agency appointments, non-compulsory pilotage and surveyor’s attendance.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following prerequisites:
• Diploma/Degree with minimum 2 years of shipping operations experience.
• Knowledge in vessel operations experience in the tanker or oil & gas industries will be an asset but not a must.
• Experience in post-fixture work, laytime and demurrage calculations.
• Hands on with a can-do attitude.
• A team player.
