Product Manager

Our client is one of the leading Asset Management organization in which they are looking for an experienced product manager.

Project Management
• Participate in Product development process.
• Project manage the implementation of new Product launches and closures, or agreed changes.
• Conduct regular project meetings with all subject matter experts on progress of individual work streams.
• Own and control the implementation and delivery of the project timeline.
• Control and report on progress of overall project, including on budgets.
• Conduct verification exercise and follow through of entire end to end process of new product before going live.
• Prepare periodic reports to local, regional and global stakeholders on progress of the implementation.
• Conduct post implementation reviews and circulate findings.

Market Research and Management Information
• Assist with discreet market research activities – such as reviewing competitor products and researching strategic themes.
• Assist with generating Management Information of company’s pooled fund activities.

Regulatory change and governance
• Assist with analysis and change implementation in respect of regulatory changes. These would include enabling opportunities.
• Assist with enabling governance oversight and reporting for existing funds as required.

Documentation Management
• Responsibility for the maintenance of fund documentation; including oversight of outsourced document product providers.
• Assist with the review of periodic review of fund documentation to ensure accuracy and integrity of information.

Support the Head of Product Management, Asia Pacific
• Assist the Head of Product Management, Asia Pacific in development, articulation and actioning of the Product strategy for the Asia Pacific region.
• Liaise with stakeholders and assist with co-ordination as part of special project management activity.

Bachelor’s degree preferably finance, and / or business background.
• 5 - 8 years relevant experience in Fixed Income, Structured Product and or Mutual Funds product management. Knowledge in relevant products such as Mutual Funds, ETF, Interest Rate Instruments, Equities and Foreign Exchange would also be preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skill.
• Knowledge on regulations, sales process, and operations workflow would be preferred with experience in project management - business transformation
• Meticulous with strong numerical skill High level of self-motivation and discipline.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment as a team player as well as independently.
