Job Description

The main focus of this role is to execute Hunting activities (hunt for new businesses across various verticals) to attain and retain Key accounts in line with Business plan to maximise profits. Responsible for maintaining a competitive advantage for customers and responsible for pricing the solutions/services. Collaborate in the setting & delivery of business plans to achieve sales and pipelines targets. Review the sales plan and key account management methodologies. Work with various departments within the firm collaboratively to ensure effective delivery of services. Perform competitor analysis to formulate new strategies with the aim of achieving a competitive edge. Consults CRMs and Sector heads on potential solutions and relevant best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ of relevant functional experience in business development ideally in a freight forwarding environment.
• Excellent influencing & negotiation skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity, with the bandwidth to work with manual processes.
• Very seasoned and strong communication, presentation skills, and good leadership skills.
• Motivated to deliver desired work results within tight schedules with good problem solving capabilities.
• Excellent ability to identify, understand and implement customer needs, and the gift in maintaining long-term professional relationships with esteemed customers.
