Our Client:
Our client is a reputable shipping brand that owns and operates a diverse fleet of chemical tankers. Currently they are looking for a well experienced Technical Superintendent to join their progressive team.
In this role of a Technical Superintendent, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in the following areas:
• Ensuring compliance to statutory requirement and regulations.
• Management of vessels’ budgets.
• Issuance of technical advice.
• Preparing technical specification for docking.
• Others
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following prerequisites:
• Certificate of Competency (Class 1) / Chief Engineer Foreign Going in Chemical Tankers and relevant shore experience with strong technical background as Fleet Superintendent.
• Sound knowledge of shipping industry on chemical tanker business, with emphasis on vessel technical management.
• Ability to administer technical and budgetary requirements.
• Good knowledge of SMS and PMS system.
• Good people management skills.
• Good negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
