The role will range from business analysis to project management activities and will require versatility among the individual. Types of projects include business process improvement or IT implementation primarily for life, non-life and re-insurers but from time-to-time will be for insurance related companies (brokers/agencies, third-party administrators, etc).

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant - Insurance to:

Main tasks will be related to business analysis and project management on an end-to-end basis including:
• Business requirements: gather, analyse, improve, prioritize.
• Project management: plan, track, ensure.
• Problem solving: identify, mitigate, resolve.

Apart from the above, involvement in pre-sales/sales activities will be required as and when needed:
• Suctioning/Proposals: plan, suggest, improve.

• Consultants need to work very closely with the client to identify issues/problems at the same time suggest for improvements, often at the client’s site unless the project is remote.
The counterpart at from the client’s end could range from junior to very senior, technical or non-technical.
• Main focus of the projects will be those in Singapore however should support be needed in other countries, may be designated to participate.

Requirements

Our client needs someone with the following skills:

• Working Experience at Insurance company (life, non-life or reinsurance):v3 years.
• Experience as Business Analyst/Project Management: 3 years.
• Involvement in IT implementation projects at insurance company.
• Insurance accounting knowledge.

Experience in any “digital” related projects or usage thereof such as:

• Business Intelligence/Data Analytics.
• Robotics Process Automation.
• Digital Portals (sales, claims, etc).
• Policy Administration System.
• Very high proficiency in analytical, presentation and soft skills including communication on how to handle existing clients and be client oriented with excellent problem solving skills.
• Must possess a personal attribute such as creativity, positive thinking, quick learning, imagination, leadership, judgment and maturity, curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative.
• Able to write clearly and concisely in prepare training materials.
• Able to travel locally is required.
• Working in tight deadlines and short notice is very common.
• Able to start in a short notice period.
• Consulting background is preferable.
