Our client is an international Ship Owner Company. In view of expansion, they are currently looking for a suitably qualified shipping professional to join their progressive team as Operations Superintendent (LNG or LPG).
In this role as an Operations Superintendent, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in the following areas:
• Pre & Post Fixture Operations
o Charterer Requirements
o Voyage Readiness Preparation
o Voyage Performance Monitoring
o Navigation / Voyage Support
o Communication & Customer Relationship Management
• Port Research
• Accounting and Cost Control
• Performance and People Management
• Operation Expertise Consultancy
• Sea Worthiness Fulfillment
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following prerequisites:
• Certificate of Competency (Class 1) / Master Mariner Foreign Going on LNG or LPG
• Possess relevant shore experience on board LNG or LPG.
• Sound knowledge of marine operation activities of LNG or LPG vessels in order to achieve a safe & efficient carriage of cargoes.
• Good negotiation skills
• Good people management skills
