They are looking for a “Finance & Accounting Manager” to join their office located in the East area.

Job Description

We are currently looking for Finance & Accounting Manager to:

1. Oversee the activities of the Finance / Accounting department.
2. Manage bankers, cash flow and projections, corporate finance, taxation regulatory reporting, financial planning, internal controls, credit controls, fixed assets, hire purchases, audits and legal issues.
3. Establish good internal financial control systems for accurate, valid and timely financial information.
4. Review Month-End, Quarterly-end and Year-End Financial Statement closing for the Management.
5. Direct accounting operations to ensure monthly financial statements are prepared timely and accurately in compliance with regulatory and internal management reporting requirements.
6. Ensure that all the consolidation package and statutory reporting are according to the accounting requirements.
7. Prepare timely financial reporting to headquarters.
8. Prepare cash flow forecasting, control and monitor the company’s cash flow.
9. Prepare monthly and quarterly forecast, including annual budgets, mid-term business plan and performance indicators.
10. Report to management on variance from the budget and the reasons for those variances.
11. Engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis in all areas of the company.
12. Engage in bench marking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement.
13. Perform analysis work, handle statistics report and review monthly management reports and provide professional advice to management
14. Handle corporate secretarial matters and ensure corporate governance compliance matters.
15. Assist quarterly and annual external audit, ensure timely completion of external audit, and facilitate the production of Annual report for AGM.
16. Liaise with auditor with regards to the transfer pricing project.
17. Manage internal audits to ensure timely completion in compliance with established audit processes.
18. Review monthly and quarterly Diva entry for submission to Headquarter.
19. Oversee and liaise with various departments on project costing or operational issues.
20. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Our client needs someone with the following skills:

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting / ACCA with at least eight (8) years of related working experience and 5 years of managerial experience.
2. Formulates, recommend & implement financial policies and procedures with appropriate internal controls and measures to achieve growth and profitability.
3. Review and analyse the monthly financial reports and provide appropriate advice to management.
4. Offer professional advice for continuous improvements in accounting, financial performance and corporate governance.
5. Review and highlight financial upsides or risks.
6. Identify forthcoming issues for financial management and review.
7. Approved electronic transactions of payment/remittance with prior approval from management.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
8. Experience in leading and managing the Finance & Accounting Department.
9. Strong in Financial Analysis.
10. ISO Knowledge will be an added advantage.
11. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ERP system experience.
12. CPA is essential.
