Job Description

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to:

1. Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
2. Developing growth strategies and plans
3. Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
4. Increasing client base
5. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
6. Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
7. Promoting the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
8. Preparing sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
9. Keeping records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
10. Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
11. Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
12. Developing entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
13. Researching business opportunities and viable income streams

Requirements

Our client needs someone with the following skills:

Required competencies/experience:
1. Minimum 5-10 years relevant working experience as a business development manager or sales manager.
2. Proven sales track record.
3. Experience in customer support is a plus.
4. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
5. Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
6. Good knowledge of Singapore’s market.
7. High level of communication and negotiation skills.
8. Ability to build rapport and sustain relationships.
9. Excellent time management and planning skills.
10. A solid team player who’s also an independent thinker.
11. Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask.
12. A robust analytical skill set.
13. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
14. Endless curiosity and a penchant for thinking the impossible.
15. Experience from e-commerce industry (Fintech, Consulting, Advertising, Agency) is a plus.
16. Fluency in English (fluency in other Asian languages is a plus).
17. University degree in IT, Finance or Business Administration from a top tertiary institution .
18. Experience in building new business relations and clients in neighbouring SEA countries is a plus .
