Job Description
We are currently looking for a Operator to:
* ensures compliance with organization procedures and industry regulations.
* primary communications link with the Ship's Master, ship-managers, charterers.
* Acquire and allocate resources to support operations.
* Arrange and manage advance payments from charterers and final settlements when the time-charter is complete.
* Coordinate the day-to-day operational activities, liaise with external parties to ensure efficient commercial operation.
* Optimise utilisation of resources.
* Prepare ship position updates.
* Propose workflow improvements to improve efficiency.
Requirements
Our client needs someone with the following skills:
-minimum 3-5 years related experience.
-sound knowledge of charter party and other relevant contracts of shipments.
-excellent communication skills.
-able to juggle the demands of multiple parties at any one time.
