Our Client:

Our client is a global Vessel Owner cum Operator. They are known in the market to provide safe, high quality maritime logistics solutions and services for top tier energy companies and trading houses.

In this role as a Manager, Corporate Planning, you are responsible for the following:

* Identify key sources of data/data collation/develop insights as well as drawing out the strategic issues and implications of industry developments

* Assist the facilitation of the strategy making process to enhance business position

* Undertake forecasting and projections and scenario/economic modelling to enhance business analysis and facilitation of strategy

* Business partnering to identify and agree LT/ST organisational objectives

* Ensure Group's portfolio of businesses enjoy maximum returns as well as meet agreed objectives

* Financially and strategically evaluate opportunities such as mergers, take-overs and joint ventures including but not limited to commercial projects requiring CAPEX and corporate wide non-commercial initiatives

* Assist in reports for Board and parent company

* Keeps excellent on-going relationships with research houses, customers, subject matter/industry experts

* Undertake focus research on specific-subject matter and provide analytics and insights when required

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following prerequisites:

* Degree in Economics/Business/Law/Finance or related Discipline

* At least 5 to 8 years of relevant finance, commercial, research and strategic/corporate planning experience

* Direct experience in shipping/transportation/logistics industry function will be a definite plus

* Familiar with Corporate Planning Process

* Familiar with Strategy Tools and Performance Management Tools

* Able to develop business case and Financial Modelling
