Our Client:
Our client is a Global transportation service provider with a dominant presence here in APAC.
The main focus of this role is to drive new business development & retaining existing business in the APAC region. You have a strong focus on High-growth Asian enterprises and businesses with multi-nationals where decision-makers and business control is within Asia-Pacific. Responsible for developing the regional freight forwarding, contract logistics and supply chain solutions as agreed for the assigned customer portfolio. Facilitate customer-focused collaboration with traffic teams, P&L owners and Business Development/Route Development teams. Foster mentoring, coaching and motivating country & product stake holders on accounts/opportunities.
*Minimum 10 years' of relevant functional experience in a business development function with a large freight forwarder
*Success in this role demands a strong working knowledge on freight forwarding products, operations processes and supply chain solutions
*Well-developed communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines
*Strong character with proven integrity, initiative, modern, self-starter
*Established network of clientele in the APAC region
*Degree in business administration/supply chain management
