Job Description

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the candidate will be responsible in managing the whole maintenance team as well as to lead major plant improvement projects.

Responsibilities:

-Lead the coordination and identification of plant improvement needs together with the department managers, including budget preparation for management review.

-Oversea and follow-up preliminary project documentation; manage upgrading projects to ensure that it meets the quality, safety, production and maintainability requirements, including subcontractor management.

-Manage energy consumption related to factory cost and savings.

-To prepare energy budget depending forecasted consumption; Monitor consumption and drive teams to present data to effectively identify areas of abnormality.

-Identify energy control measure projects including detailed studies to reduce consumption.; Liaise with authorities in compliance with EC Act.

-Responsible in developing and driving an effective maintenance program to sustain plant operations.

-Mentor and coach team members and seek better ways to improve operations. Motivate and drive maintenance team into maiximizinf equipment performance and downtime.

-Prepare, maintain, and monitor maintenance budget expenditure.

-Implement effective quality and safety compliance system.

-Cooperate with QA/EHS to lead and implement and maintain requirements.

-Participate in reviewing product / service complaints, root cause analysis and support improvement and modification works.

Requirements

*Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
*Minimum 7 year's experience in management of in engineering, project and maintenance management within food manufacturing industry.
*Holds a Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification.
*Demonstrates understanding of project management and engineering from a technical and operational point of view
*Ability to coach, lead and motivate a team.
