They are looking for Training Manager at Singapore office.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Training Manager (L&D) to:

Training Manager shall assist the General Manager in ensuring all training assignments are completed within the time line, managing training programs all around for the company and ensuring that it is in par with the market practices for all level of employees in the company.

1. Provide strategic consulting in all aspect related to training for the company – wide initiatives and projects;
2. Manage in the design, development and implementation of all around training programs;
3. Liaise with HODs and Management to identify and label the learning gap at all level of operations by conducting interview and test;
4. Plan and implement training programs in line with the company and business unit’s business objective;
5. Manage and administer Training registration and Evaluation Forms or its related documents, Training report, Training budget, Total company training plan, Training needs analysis, government survey etc;
6. Present and makes recommendations to stakeholders regarding course design, technology and instructional delivery options;
7. Create and implement tools to access identify staff potential and place them into specific development paths;
8. Conduct both Soft-skills and Hard-skills (technical) training programs;
9. Works directly with subject matters experts to develop instructional content and/or to map the course into Skills Framework;
10. Recommend changes to content or delivery methods, based on information’s such as instructional effectiveness data, current or future performance requirements and feasibility;
11. Benchmark competitors training systems to implement best practices;
12. Implement, update and issue Training’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as and when there are changes;
13. Any other duties that may be assigned by General Manager from time to time.

Requirements

Our client needs someone with the following skills:

• Minimum Degree in Adult Education /Human Resource or it relevant discipline;
• ACTA and or DACE qualification is preferred;
• 5 to 8 years’ related experience in a handling full spectrum of training, especially in technical skills;
• Understand the trend of training market and familiar with Singapore Government funding policies and training incentive programs;
• Experience developing classroom and OJT training materials;
• Demonstrated self-starter – able to work independently and in a team environment;
• Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
