Job description

We are currently looking for a Finance Director to:

As the senior dedicated finance leader, you'll have an important seat at the table for important strategic decisions and directions.

* Oversee full-set of accounting and transaction processes.

* Provide strategic thought partnership with the business unit leaders on the financial health of the business.

* Prepare financial updates and analysis for leadership team and Board of Directors and venture debt partners.

* Undertake financial reporting - Monthly, Quarterly, Annually - and work with third parties on potential audits.

* Oversee cash management and budgeting.

* Help refine the future financial business model of the company as they scale globally.

* Support the development of fundraising materials and financial models to support the raising of venture debt and equity fundraising.

* Be an active integral part of the company's leadership team and a bastion for our company culture and values.

* Ensure that organizational resource allocation aligns with organizational strategies; collaborate with members of the leadership team on spending and staffing decisions.

Requirements

Our client needs someone with the following skills:

*At least 10 years of overall professional experience; ideally 6+ years of broad financial operations management experience.
*Strong financial competence and understanding of accounting and reporting.
*Excellent leadership and communication skills.
*Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, as well as federal and state financial regulations.
*Ability to strategically analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
*A modeling expert who can move quickly from discussing the details of a department's financial model to high-level, long-term company goals and strategy.
*Ability to take initiative and responsibility for projects, promote teamwork and collaboration between staff, peers, vendors, and partners.
*Results-Oriented with strong sense of urgency and motivation.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to connect with and present to a variety of stakeholders including staff, leadership and the Directors.
