Quality Control Engineer - Subsea|Manufacturing|API Q1

Our client is an MNC Equipment Manufacturing and Oilfield Services company.

* Support the EHSQ Manager in implementing Quality Control activities on a daily basis.

* Supervise QC Inspectors and NDT Technicians.
* satisfy NDT Level II requirements, provide training and evaluation and maintain test records.
* Condustr project briefing and monitoring with inspectors on the shop floor.
* Coordinate identification of nonconformities, initialization and finalization of nonconformace reports; Perform root-cause analysis, corrective actions and improvements.
* Create and update quality plans, Inspection Test Plans, and Notification of Inspections in a timely manner.
* Ensure that QC inspectors prepare and issue QC reports in a timely manner.
* Review QC reports and Data Book for accuracy of information on a daily basis in Master Control.
* Liaise with vendors for inspection activity and perform regular surveillances including NCR, NDT, Machining, etc.
* Liaise with customers and TPI for inspection surveillance activities. Respond and attend to customer complains immediately.
* Respond to critical matters from internal / external customers and keep effective communications.

- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
- AWS or CSWIP Welding Inspector Certification is required.
- ASNT NDT Level III or similar qualification is essential.
- Sound knowledge of API 6A, API 16A, API 16C, API 1104, API STD 64, NACE MR0175, ASME VIII & IX & ASTM NDT standards.
- 10 years of experience as QC Engineer, 5 years of which in manufacturing, repair and remanufacturing of drilling equipment and tubular products.
- Has overseen a team of inspectors.
- Experience in training and auditing.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
