Our Client is a leading player in Asia providing regional customer with Industrial solutions in the sectors. They have a new opening for a Logistics Specialist as part of their expansion plan. The successful candidate can look forward to a progressive career with them.
* Working closely with the Head of Operations, the successful incumbent will be responsible for leading Logistics planning and operational activities assigned.
* Monitor and ensure Plant inventories are at optimum level, work closely with peers to ensure inventory targets are established.
* Support implementation of projects hand-over, on ad-hoc basis, will be require to take the lead to develop and support cross functional implementation of value added Supply Chain Solutions
* Data analysis and reporting - Compiles data on standardization and interchange ability of part to expedite shipment and logistics coordination.
* You will be part of the Process team to lead Logistics Business Process improvement initiatives or Projects and on ad-hoc basis assist in conducting training.
* Ensure work is carried following company's safety guidelines and regulated work procedures and processes
* Careful handling of Hazardous substances and ensure they are stored and transported safely adhering to full compliance, approved license and safety guidelines by relevant authorities
*A Degree holder in Business Management or Logistics and Operations Management with 3-5 years of relevant experience in related field. You should possess working in a logistics and Inventory management role in an industrial or Chemical MNC environment.
