Application Engineer - Cranes

Our client is a leading international manufacturer of hydraulic lifting, loading and handling equipment and systems.

Job Purpose:

 The Application Engineer is the key Technical Advisor on all company products, mainly knuckle boom cranes, to the Regional Sales Team.

 To understand the market and drive product innovation and improvements on all products to meet customer demands in the Asia market.

 To serve as the driving force in the company business' expansion strategy for assigned product lines.

 To consolidate and manage market size / market share info for all products across Asia region.

Responsibilities (Product Management):

 Technical Advisor on product application engineering topics

 Responsible for tender product specification compliance.

 Liaise and communicate with Group Product Managers on improvements in product development, VOC (Voice of Client)

 Support local product requisition / development activities.

 Act as technical support for customized special solutions.

 Understand market and competitor strategies and contribute in idea generation and definition of projects.

 Conduct product related training and company software training (internal and external).

 Responsible for annual pricing activities for equipment.

 Support any other dealer development activities.

 Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering.
 2-3 years of working experience in a related field.
 Able to travel when necessary.
 Has a positive attitude and willing to learn.
 Able to work independently with an eye for details
 Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
 People oriented and a team player.
