This position will work to achieve revenue expectations in the Japan market. Will have sole responsibility of managing our packaged goods distributor in Japan, development of joint business plans and go to market executions that secure the success of EA upcoming title launches, back catalogue opportunities and overall sales result within these partners.

Job description

Success in this position would require the candidate to:

* Achieve Japan packaged goods net revenue.

* Manage partners.

* Create and manage joint business plans.

* Execute 'go to market' launch programmes.

* Collaborate with extended Asia team (finance, legal) to achieve macro Japan priorities.

* Observe and capture Japan market intelligence (competitor activity, retail trends etc).


The successful should have:
*Strong negotiation skills
*Ability to construct go to market programmes.
*Strong commercial acumen (ability to construct ROI positive price promotions; ability to review Country P&Ls; ability to propose cost effective GTM plans)
*Confidence to deal with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
*Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and Japanese liaise with client and internal communication.
*Determination and persistence.
*Flexibility to change course at short notice if required.
*Strong collaboration skills.
*Active listening skills and willingness to continue to improve on one's skills and competencies.
*Prior success in achieving sales results in retail.
*Prior success in developing GTM plans that have enhanced a financial result.
*Interest in moving into a Head of Publishing role or working on another region.
*Willingness to work collaboratively with a broader team to achieve common goals.
*Interest in video games
