Our Client:
Our client, an international organization that manufactures mechanical equipment to the Marine & Offshore industry is on the lookout for an experience Technical Manager to join their Technical team in Singapore.
Due to an increase in project opportunities in the Asia region have led to the need to expand their Technical department in Singapore. The Technical Manager acts as a single point of contact for end users/clients. Covering all technical aspect including training, dealer management, complaints and warranty claims.
The Role/Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor and train a team of Engineers and Technician internally and externally
* Handle warranty and other service related issues
* Act as a technical expert in providing technical support
* Attend meetings with dealers/distributors in the region
* Evaluate dealers, distributors and provide advice for improvement
* Delivering and coordinating technical and after sales training in the region
* Manage dealers on Service & Part operations matters, KPIs, training and technician development
* Other ad hoc duties when assigned
The Requirements:
* Preferably Diploma or Degree in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
* 3-5 years of experience dealing with Mechanical equipment
* Must have experience dealing with Distributors/Dealers
