Our Client:
Our client, an international organization that provides various products and services to the Marine & Offshore industry is on the lookout for a Global Asset Manager to join their Procuring team in Singapore.
The Global Asset Manager will focus on creating and maintaining operating standards, improving on processes, supporting business initiatives, strategic developments and others.
The Role:
* Support in the strategic development of employers' organization with special focus on related matters
* Ensure an efficient and effective placement of the asset across organization network in accordance with Customer Demand
* Ensure the planned and proposed investments in Asset is accordance with growth in Customer Demand, outflow/inflow of products and end of useful life of the Assets
* Ensure the replenishment is at the lowest possible purchase price for Asset
* Responsible for coordinating and managing any Risk and Legal disputes arising from ownership or casualty relating to the Asset, in cooperation with Corporate Legal responsible
* Participate and follow-up on customers' compliance to the asset business models and secure correct administration of the Assets in customers' possession
* Focus on continuous improvement, create and maintain operating standards for personnel working with related matters / activities in our Network
* Ensure Programs, Processes and Procedures that apply to personnel in both Supply Chain Operations and Asset Commercials are understood and followed
* Ensure that any systems attached to the Assets or Business are fit for purpose and utilized by both Supply Chain Operations and Asset Commercials
* Contribute for the maintenance of the assets according to the International Agreement at the optimum cost level
* Drive and ensure control of assets to reduce discrepancies, including periodic control of Asset on hand and in the customers' possession
* Support the Business stream in any development of new business initiatives concerning the Asset
* Ensure operational readiness through alignment with Business Streams attached to any new or changed related offers
The Requirements:
* Preferably Diploma or Degree in any relevant academics
* Experience working in the Marine & Offshore or Oil & Gas
* Strong experience as a Buyer, Procurement, Buyer or any other similar position
