Job Description
* Carry out application work for Bakery and Confectionery team
* Trouble shoot and perform trials with customer at their premises when needed
* Support and work with Technical Services to deliver solutions for customers through customer-focused innovation projects i.e technical presentations
* Develop innovative formulation concepts to meet the market and/or customer requirements
* Review ingredients and prepare prototypes for customers seminars, demonstrations, exhibition and innovation days
* Perform stability tests and analysis
* Maintain and liaise with necessary parties to ensure laboratory equipment are in optimal and safe working conditions
* Any other duties as assigned
* Travelling required (25%)
Requirements
*Diploma or Bachelors' Degree in Food Science or related fields
*Min 5 years of related working experience.
*Good technical knowledge in baking science and familiar with bakery equipment is an advantage
*Good understanding of analytical equipment
*A fast learner who is keen in the bakery & confectionery industry
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Powerpoint
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
*A results-oriented team player
*Good reporting and presentation skills
