Job Description
- Provides directions and strategies through Supply Chain transfers and price value for designated commodity.
- The focal window for all related issues to ensure that the ownership and accountability are clearly met and defined.
- Leads a team of Sourcing Managers in providing internal and external training or learning opportunities and potential to advance in their current role.
- Provide support to purchasing site to manage critical shortage or supplier performance issues, including escalation within the supplier and recommendations for alternative source of development or recommendations.
- Ensure compliance of operations with all relevant EHS regulatory requirements and company policies and guidelines.
Requirements
Min. of 10 years' experience in Supply management end to end.
Knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical commodity preferred.
A people manager
Experience working in a low mix high volume industry
Having both technical and commercial knowledge of commodity categories.
Willingness to travel, occasionally for extended periods.
