Company Overview

 Accountable for the Greater APAC (Gr APAC) region delivery of corporate global project

portfolio, leading a matrixed and direct team of Project and PMO resources across the

Greater APAC region

 Provide support and advice on project/ programme governance for the P&PM team and

manage high level escalations

 Own tactical and strategic changes in order to align, synchronize and harmonize P&PM

policies, methods, processes, procedures, work instructions and associated tools. Balance

the global, regional and local needs to deliver corporate solutions for global customers

and local customers in a highly matrixed environment, seamlessly

 Represent Gr APAC needs on the Global PM leadership team

Job Description

 Input into the bid process to capture the commercials related to project delivery

 Ensure delivery of contractual obligations at a Global and local Level

 Gr APAC Project Portfolio Management and associated exec reporting

 Lead high visibility projects (hands-on)

 Harmonization, synchronising and alignment of processes, procedures, work instructions

and tools

 Resource forecasting, budgeting, allocation and variance reporting on a project portfolio

level

 Team development and management; ensure SMART objectives are set for each role in

the team

 Drive Continuous Service Improvement (lessons learned) and internal "business change"

projects/programmes

 Identify revenue opportunities through commercial and project change control

 Ensure the delivery of the Gr APAC project portfolio to customer satisfaction, financial,

quality and schedule targets

 Assign adequate resource to customer projects to ensure smooth delivery to project

timescales

 Lead, develop, succession plan and recruit in to the P&PM regional team to ensure world

class skill and capability at the correct resource levels, with resiliency, developing

effective working relationships with the local country management teams

 Drive through initiatives to improve project delivery within the group

 Work closely with Service Management to ensure smooth handover from Transition

(Project) to Operations

 Drive the implementation of project and programme governance across the APAC region

taking into account all interfaces with other business transformation initiatives

 On-going measurement of project profitability against bid process inputs (cost model)

 Capacity planning at project portfolio level

Requirements

 University degree or equivalent
 Min 5 years' experience in leading global or regional projects or complex international
programmes
 Min 10 years' experience in project management of multi-million USD projects for private
sector customers
 Extensive and proven project and programme management experience at an APAC
regional level. Experience at a Global level highly desirable
 Commercial awareness with an understanding of financial reports
 Knowledge of project management methodologies, with relevant
qualifications/certifications (PMP or Prince)
 Extensive experience in deploying standardization and best practice aligned to industry
known standards (Prince2, PMBOK, MSP, ITIL V3)
 Extensive experience in IT projects related to
o Hardware deployment
o Software deployment (COTS products)
o Cloud services (AWS / Azzure)
o Integration Services
o Global service transitions inclusive of desk-side support, remote infrastructure
management, remote application support, global service desks (including service
management toolsets such as ServiceNow).
o Familiarity of SIAM
 Highly IT literate and experienced in business software, e.g.: Office 365, MS PowerBI and
various Project Management toolsets
 Self-motivated and proactive, with ability to work productively as part of a team
 The ability to work with tact, diplomacy and a high level of confidentiality
 Business English, oral and written
