About Our Client:

Our client, a renowned and leading global online market place and hospitality service company is currently looking for the right dynamic talent to join them as Legal Response Associate (Contract) for their fast expanding business in the APAC region, based in their Singapore office.

For this role, you will be working alongside with the internal & external stakeholders to support global requests on sensitive legal matters on user data information required by law enforcement and government agencies. You will be required to exercise and maintain strict confidence and discretion on sensitive information surfaced.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Respond to requests from law enforcement and government authorities in APAC and EMEA regions
* Responsible for processing sensitive global legal requests, such as court orders or requests for user data, from start to finish including document review, logging, analysis, processing and follow-up
* Responsible for supporting the team by ensuring requests are processed, tracked and completed in an efficient and timely manner
* Ability to provide clear and concise responses to time-sensitive requests
* Ability to identify anomalies or unusual patterns in requests you handle
* Provide timely responses to emergency requests for all over the world
* Work closely with Legal teams in Ireland and Singapore on responses to law enforcement authorities, regulators and legislators requests for user data

Experience and Skills:

* Experience in a similar role involving reviewing, documenting and tracking legal requests is helpful
* Knowledge and experience related to data protection legislation and online investigations
* Ability to review and understand legal process to ensure compliance with relevant data protection legislation
* Experience working with data protection authorities, financial institutions, and policing agencies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Detail-oriented, organised, and able to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment even when they are sometimes monotonous
* Prior background from the legal/enforcement industry will be an added advantage
* Ability to commence work in short notice will be a plus
