Our Client:
Our client, an international organization that provides various services to the Shipping industry is on the lookout for an experience Bids & Tenders Manager to join their team here in Singapore.
The Description:
* Develop an effective team culture to drive positive change
* Training internal team members and other employees in contracting and procurement practices
* Provide support to various committees to ensure process is being followed
* Carefully monitor vendor performance and making changes when appropriate
* Documenting of all documents and data into internal system
* Plan and manage the tenders, contracts and procurement audits to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend improvement to ensure integrity of the process
* Analyst risks, requirements, terms & conditions in contracts and ensure compliance with corporate objectives
* Responsible for drafting, evaluating, negotiations and execution of all contracts and purchase agreements
* Manage and control the tendering and procurement activities of selected materials/items for economics of scale such as the establishment of Price Agreements
* Generate tender documents and co-ordinate tender requirements with end users to ensure tenders are awarded according to timeliness, cost, quality and compliance targets
The Requirements:
* Any relevant degree
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Tenders & Contracts
* Experience working in the Shipping or Marine & Offshore industry
