Job description

Our Client:

Our client is a well-known company in the electricity market. It is the financial exchange for electricity trading, environment and governance in the market.

The Responsibilities:

* Organise networking events and execute CRM initiatives to enhance relations with customers
* Manage customer database to ensure that key contacts are kept updated at all times
* Support the organisation and execution of thought leadership events
* Assist in the production and distribution of reports and other collaterals
* Propose and develop content for social media platforms to drive engagement
* Daily media monitoring of industry, stakeholder and company news
* Facilitate media queries
* Assist in the hosting of visiting delegations
* Advise all teams on messaging and execution, to achieve clear, consistent, effective and timely communications to both internal and external audiences
* Provide communications support during crisis exercises and in a real crisis. As the team's Business Continuity Management (BCM) coordinator, ensure that crisis comms documents are updated at all times

The Requirements:

* Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or other related fields
* At least 4 years' of relevant experience in PR, communications or related fields. PR agency experience will be a strong advantage
* Experience in managing events and publications, as well as developing corporate and marketing collaterals, are essential
* Hands-on writing and editorial experience for a wide range of communications materials, including publications, press releases, speeches, as well as content for social media channels and websites. Good track record in creating engaging content for social media will be a strong advantage.
* Some experience working with the media is preferred
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
* Comfortable working and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders of different levels
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
* Basic skills with design software (e.g. Photoshop) and video editing software (e.g. iMovie) will be an added advantage
