About Our Client And The Role:
Our client is one of the leading business builder in logistics, real estate, infrastructure, finance and related technologies. They operate across Brazil, China, Europe, India, Japan, and the U.S. with about US$89 billion in assets under management in real estate and private equity funds.
You will play a critical role in developing solutions globally and work cross functionally to understand business requirements and build models in Anaplan. You will have a passion for streamlining the way planning data across the business. You will also ensure key business users can spend more time focusing on insight and decision making and less time in manual data manipulation.
The Responsibilities:
* Understanding business processes and requirements
* Translate requirements into functional requirements and use cases
* Design and build Anaplan application models to support business processes
* Build and develop Anaplan modules and blueprint
* Responsible for maintaining and driving improvements to the core Anaplan model which acts to connect the plans across the business
* Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs
* Transform and implement multi-dimensional structures to support business processes
* Implement high quality code using best practices
* Monitor data flows to and systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate
* Provide hands-on training to end users on Anaplan models and processes
* Define and administer user roles and permissions in Anaplan
* Fully understand business assumptions and drivers
* Complete special projects on an ad-hoc basis
* Ensure the core Anaplan model is well maintained, follows best practice modeling and supports the needs of key users
* Ensure comprehensive UAT (User acceptance testing) is completed ahead of major new releases
* Work with IT teams to integrate Anaplan model with key business systems (JDE/YARDI/HFM etc)
The Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent
* At least 2+ years of relevant experience building models
* Preferably 5+ years of financial analysis and modeling with widely used planning and analytical multi-dimensional systems such as Cognos, Hyperion, SAP BPC, Business Objects, TM1, etc
* Strong expertise and deep understanding of multi-dimensional modeling
* Expert skills of Excel spreadsheet modeling, macros, pivot tables, formulas, charts etc
* Subject matter expertise in operations, financial management systems, or sales planning
* Ability to translate from model-building in Excel to multi-dimensional technologies
* Strong understanding of data integration
* Must possess business acumen, strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
* Must be organized and detail oriented
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment and manage a high workload
