Our Client:

We are assisting a premier luxury hotel operator to look for an AVP, Asset Management. This is a newly created position in line with company's recent business expansion strategy. The AVP, Asset Management will report directly to the Head of Asset Management. Portfolio distribution will be shared in detail during the interview.

The Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Vice President, Asset Management, your key responsibilities include:

* Formulation of asset repositioning strategies
* Devise a tactical plan and lead asset enhancement initiatives, closely collaborating with the engineering department and other intra-department
* Provide input on any potential acquisition or divestment initiatives
* Prepare board papers, management reports and financial statement for the assigned portfolio
* Monitor Annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets and prepare yearly forecast for senior management's approval
* Prepare monthly and quarterly update on market trends and existing portfolio performance
* Keep the company database updated in terms of matters involving the financial and legal aspect of the portfolio

The Requirements:

To qualify for the role of Assistant Vice President, Asset Management, you are required to:

* Possesses a Bachelor degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Real Estate, Finance or equivalent
* Minimum 7 years' experience in Asset Management or Revenue Management role within the hospitality sector
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Previous experience in Hotel Asset Management or related fields (i.e. Revenue Management, Finance) is an added advantage
* Structured, methodical with experience delivering concise, professional and relevant reports
* Highly analytical with strong numerical skills
* Proficient user in Microsoft Office tools
* Ability to read P&L statements and identify areas to focus on during property meetings
* Experienced in conducting feasibility study and ROI analysis for AEIs
* Strong interpersonal skill and skilled in stakeholder management
