Our Client:
Our client is a leading company specializing in Plastic/chemical/ distribution businesses regionally. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
* Build and strengthen relationship with customers in SEA, India, Middle East and Australasia by working directly with customers and or through sales channels
* Report to Regional Director for their food business
* Execute mid-term aromas business development plan
* Be the point person for the major supplier
* Develop new segments in flavors & fragrances, oral care, home care, fabric care and personal care customers
* Work with sales team in MESA to expand Aroma products locally
* SG to be distribution center and order center in MESA. *exception - Global accounts
* Compiles competitor information and feedback to key suppliers on quarterly basis
* Develops strategies and business plan in conjunction with country business management
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Food, Chemistry or related fields
* 7 years of experience in sales or business development in similar industry, managing similar portfolio of products
* Ability to think strategically
* Effective influencer and collaborator
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Managing diversity and multi-cultural teams
