Job Description

The Client:

Our client is a niche cyber security company highly specialized in incidence response and forensics. They are respected in the market for their capability and have top tier talent working for them in this field. Currently they are undergoing growth as incidence response is in high demand.

They are looking for an exception incidence responder and forensics consultant to join their team.


The Role:

Essentially you will be the primary technical expert in cyber security incident response investigations and help further build the companies response capabilities. You will help identify and validate breached systems and take actions to stop attacks as well as conducing forensics investigations surrounding the incident. At times you would also advise clients on proper cybersecurity hygiene and evade and pre-empt attacks.

Additionally, you should keep on top of the latest developments on incidences and threat actors and help to produce periodic reviews and intelligence digests that can be understood by non-technical people


Requirements:

To be successful in this role you need:

* At least 8 years' experience in this field

* Expert knowledge of tools and techniques used in forensics

* Understanding of tactics and techniques used by threat actors to develop tools and scripts for quick identification of agents in a compromised network

* To be able to lead the complete incident life cycle

* Strong communication ability to discuss highly technical information with non-technical people (example: C-suite, legal, compliance)

* CISSP or similar qualifications
