Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is one of the top leading construction companies with its Headquarters in Japan. Their Singapore office is looking for an Accountant who will be reporting to the HOD and responsible for the full set of accounting operation.
The Responsibilities:
* Responsible for full spectrum of AP/AR/GL & related company related transactions;
* Assist in audit, variance analysis and monthly management report preparation;
* Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information;
* Support cost and budgeting exercise as per Corporate office guidelines;
* Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required;
* Assist in new processes for continuous improvement initiatives, system implementation and any ad-hoc projects.
The Requirements:
* Proficient in IFRS as well as local GAAP (next line)
* Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
* Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Familiar with Accounting System (Navision/Dynamics 365)
