Job Description

Our Client and The Role:

We are the recruitment partner of choice for a growing REIT entity with heavily vested focus of investment on data centre. The Assistant Manager, Investment & Asset Management hired for this role will be critical in expanding and increasing the return of investment for the REIT entity.

The Responsibilities:

* Planning and execution of asset enhancement plan while coordinating the projects with Facilities and Project Management team
* Formulation of action plan to increase the proficiency of assets with the KPI set by the senior stakeholders
* Management and planning of CAPEX and OPEX budget
* Preparation of monthly and quarterly variance analysis and reports
* Provide input on matters of finance and re-financing for the assigned site
* Provide input on potential acquisition and divestment activities
* Provide support in identification of potential acquisition; whilst assisting in structuring and execution of data centre acquisition/ land purchase
* Perform financial sensitivity / modelling analysis to support acquisition
* Work closely with intra department and external consultants on matters of due diligence for potential investment opportunities
* Preparation of recommendation papers and review of legal documents
* Preparation of market analysis report to keep abreast of the latest development and pricing of the assigned portfolio

The Requirements:

* Possess a Minimum Degree in Business, Real Estate Management or equivalent from a good university
* Prior experience working in investment, fund or private equity industry will be preferred for this role
* Minimum 4 years' of relevant experience on a real estate investment position is required for the role
* Data Centre technical knowledge and experiences will be an added advantage
* Experience in the data centre and/or real estate industry is preferred but not essential
* Good report writing, verbal, financial modelling and presentation skills
* Independent and able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
