Our Client:

Our client is an MNC Manufacturer of Mechanical Equipment with applications across various Industrial segments (Petrochemical, Refining, Water Treatment, Power, etc.)

Geographic Coverage: Singapore and Malaysia

The Role:

Summary of Role: To retain and grow business with the entire portfolio of Air Filtration in the market segment Turbo Machinery. He or she strengthens the company's filter market position by pursuing the goals set in the operative planning.

The Responsibilities:

* Selling of technical filtration products for application in Turbo Machinery for Power Generation and oil & gas sector
* To develop and to manage new and existing filter key account customers including regular customer visits, market and customer reviews and development of new opportunities to facilitate sales growth
* Coordination of filter order processing according to customer's needs
* Assisting in all activities to enlarge the filter business and to open up new business field in Singapore and Malaysia
* Participate, if required, in meetings, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, conference calls and presentations as required by the organization
* To carry out efficient and effective operation planning as required
* To ensure the monitoring and reporting of turnover on a monthly basis, providing effective solutions to meet business needs and overcome variations to plan
* To develop new and existing marketing intelligence in order to determine corporate and market strategy
* Prepare offers to customers in on behalf of the local sales entity after consultation with Sales Director and/or Global market Segment Management for Turbomachinery
* To lead 1 Sales Associate in Malaysia
* Compliance with the business principles and the guiding principles of the group
* To approve quotation/order/drawing/purchase orders

The Requirements:

* Tertiary qualification in Engineering
* Minimum of 6 years of work experience in industrial filtration business.
* Established networks in Petrochemical / Refinery / Power / Water Treatment industries
* Demonstrated abilities in achieving sales targets
* Experience in both Direct and Distribution sales
* Ability to work with a diverse team
* Ability to travel on a regular basis (monthly)
