Job Description
Our Client:
Our Client is a global reinsurance company and currently looking for young Associate of a recognized actuarial body (i.e. SOA, IFoA, Actuaries Institute etc).
The Responsibilities:
* Work with Senior Actuaries and Client Managers on client quotations focusing on timely delivery of quotes, pricing reports with the aim of achieving a profitable outcome for the company
* Ensure the quotations are in compliance with applicable government/regulatory and internal guidelines and requirements
* Be familiar with internal company's guidelines and risk appetite and discuss the same with Client Managers
The Requirements:
* 2 - 5 years of experience
* Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical and concise in approach and demonstrate attention to detail
* Experience in pricing Critical Illness benefits will be advantageous
* Strong Excel skills, strong VBA skills would be advantageous
* Competent knowledge in AXIS (preferred)
* Good understanding of the products and insurance environment in at least one key SEA market (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia) is essential (knowledge in more than 1 market will be advantageous)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of a SEA language will be an advantage
* Experience in Singapore market is preferred
