Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a Japanese logistics company and has been in Singapore for more than 20 years. They offer 3PL, forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, distribution, packing/crating and logistics consultancy.

The Responsibilities:

Our client is currently looking for an Assistant General Manager to:

* Lead company's projects and 3PL management functions
* Plan and analyze warehousing strategies, budget and policy framework for both short and long terms business development stability and strengthening profitability
* Implement and monitor 3PL management activities required to achieve cost efficiency
* Plan and provide directions to the projects and warehousing teams to ensure optimization of resources and space
* Strategize business collaboration with business partners to achieve effective synergy
* Deploy and implement logistics development projects and identify improvements and ensuring all existing and new projects meet the required standards and policies
* Ensure Workplace Safety within the warehouse environment

The Requirements:

Our client needs someone with the following skills:

* Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in any field
* At least 5 years in Management functions with good track records
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience in 3PL and warehousing industry
* Good ability to manage and effectively interact with all levels
* Good Safety and Security knowledge
* Possess excellent management skills and mindset
