Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is a global company that operates an online marketplace and hospitality service which is accessible via its websites and mobile apps.

The Responsibilities:

* Responsible in full set of accounting, month end closing and financial statement
* You will be the statutory reporting lead for APAC - countries cover include for Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Australia and China
* Be responsible for month end closing and balance sheet reconciliations for overseas entity (China)
* Provide support in invoices & local GAAP revenue reconciliation
* Support China new product pilots on any manual accounting process
* Building WDesk for all APAC entities to improve efficiencies
* Liaising with auditors on audit matters
* Other duties as assigned

The Requirements:

* Bachelor degree with at least 5 to 8 years of experiences in full set of accounting and statutory reporting
* Must be familiar with month-end closing process, balance sheet reconciliations, audit processes and SFRS
* Ideally with audit experience from the Big4
* Proficient in Workday
* Proficient in WDesk will be an added advantage
* Meticulous, self-motivated, independent and ability to multi-task
* Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills
* Excellent reading and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with Native Mandarin speaking stakeholders
