Job Description

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top leading information technology companies with its Headquarters in Japan. Their Singapore office is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer.

The Responsibilities:

* Provide cyber security consultancy and advisory to customer about the security aspects of IT application infrastructure including client computing, networking and server aspect of the projects from initiation to implementation.
* Make customer calls, present solutions and provide competitive analysis of products via workshops and presentations as required.
* Support sales teams in the bidding process.
* Responsible for providing solutions for threats, intrusion detection and prevention like firewall, IPS, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, Vulnerability assessment service, etc.
* Implement various cyber security tools for detection, prevention and analysis of security threats.
* Respond to security incidents and apply security controls for the containment of cyberattacks.

The Requirements:

* Strong understanding in SOC security analysis, vulnerability assessment, endpoint security solutions.
* Proactive with good attention to detail and a strong team player.
* Knowledge in SIEM (especially Splunk and SPL) is a significant advantage.
* Having an infrastructure security background.
* At least 3 years of relevant IT experience in designing, deployment and management of security solutions and services for enterprise level application systems, network and system infrastructure Security certifications such as ECSA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, Splunk certification or equivalent will be an added advantage.
* Good knowledge of both application and infrastructure security in servers, network, client computing and ICT operations to effectively manage vendors, Pro-active, dynamic, dedicated and responsible self-starter with strong customer orientation and multi-tasking capabilities.
