About Our Client And The Role:

Our client is a One-Stop Logistics Solutions Provider offer their clients a range of Integrated and Customer-Focused Supply Chain and Logistics Solutions. Serving customers in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining and Heavy Equipment Industries their operations extend across Asia. Headquartered here in Singapore your remit will cover Singapore operations with an overarching responsibility for their Malaysia, Indonesia, China & Australia businesses.

In return we're looking for a senior management professional able to demonstrate a proven track record in logistics and supply chain management, covering a range of services such as; Contract / Project Logistics, Integrated Freight, Heavy Equipment Logistics, E Commerce Fulfillment and Commodity Logistics Solutions either regionally or globally.

The Responsibilities:

* Develop business plans & strategies, lead & motivate team to execute the daily activities, & deliver increase revenues & EBITA targets
* Continuous improvement of service and operational procedures, develop initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiency in all departments
* Provide leadership & guidance to effect the smooth implementation of new initiatives
* Drive and maintain ISO 9000:2000 certification, including ongoing re-certification and quality compliance reporting
* Provide leadership & guidance for wide range of business critical functions including the implementation of HSE procedures and practices

The Requirements:

* Degree qualified in Supply Chain or Logistics or relevant field with minimum ten (10) years of management experience in a logistics company
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors & staff in a multi-cultural environment
* Ideally should have previous P&L management experience with exposure to budgeting, financial accounting and target setting
