Our Client:
Our client, an international organization that provides system integration solutions to the Marine & Offshore industry is on the lookout for an experience Project Manager to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
* Carry out audits on vessels to plan and specify installation projects
* Design and draw system components and fittings for each installation based on the audit
* Specify hardware and software packages for each vessel installation
* Carry out quality assessment on the material procurement for the system
* Manage field operations team ensuring high quality and on-time deliveries
* Take initiative to improve solutions by providing input and suggestions
* Follow and conform to the HSSE plan as per Maritime industry standards
* Responsible for documenting and reporting project deliverables
* Execute in-field testing and troubleshooting of software and hardware systems
* Schedule, plan, and assess each installation according to the vessel schedules including arranging personnel transport to and out of the vessel
* Be able to design and fabricate fittings onboard as demanded by vessel-specifics
* Commission software, server, and hardware package on board vessels
* Verify signals and data input from own and third-party signal sources
* Ability to document and record various operational documents pre and post-installation
The Requirements:
* Experience and strong understanding of shipping or supply chain management solutions
* Strong passion for working in a start-up environment
* Build customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction
* Have a solid track record of innovation and problem-solving
* Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
* Good IT proficiency including CAD drawing and basic programming skills
* Experience and understanding of Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical drawings
* Proficient in Marine engineering technology and troubleshooting
* Willing to share ideas and experience to further improve the team's performance
* Out of box thinker and ability to see and understand the bigger picture associated with the Company's product, Company's vision, mission, and objective
