Job Description

Our Client:

Our client in the education industry is currently seeking for an Assistant Finance Manager to handle the full accounting matters for their entity based in China remotely from Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

* Responsible in ensuring financial controls, monthly book closure and management for their entity based in China and ensuring books of accounts are updated and maintained accurately
* Support preparation of all monthly reports as per specified formats for various purposes including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Payables & Receivables and variance analysis
* Provide support in budgeting and FP&A matters for their entity based in China
* Work closely with the team members based in China and internal stakeholders to ensure periodic cash flow updates are submitted and revenue & cost projections are submitted
* Responsible in bank account reconciliation, cash flow management, revenue and expenses and payment
* Working closely with the china team and external stakeholders on any banking related matters and audit matters
* Ensure statutory compliances are followed and documentation maintained for statutory and tax audit in China. Providing support on any matters pertaining to statutory audits, due diligences and internal audits

The Requirements:

* Qualified CA/CPA with 4 to 8 years of relevant experience
* Working knowledge and familiarity with Chinese Accounting Standards is preferred
* Must be familiar with month-end closing process, balance sheet reconciliations, audit processes and IFRS in China
* Ideally with audit experience from the Big4
* Excellent reading and verbal communication skills. Bilingual, able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Native Mandarin speaking counterparts
